My girlfriend left for a 4day/3night vacation at Thailand last thursday and will be arriving tomorrow morning. Before she left, we planned on spending some time together and we have agreed to watch UP in digital 3D at Greenbelt 3 Cinemas. I went there by 10:30am to buy two tickets for us both but the personnel told me they'd be open at 11:30am so i just went back there again by the time he told me they'll open. Well, the price is a bit expensive though, P300 for a 96mins of movie. But i think it'll be worth it because it's a 3D for anybody else's sake... I have seen the trailer a few times before when we watched other movies in the cinemas and i think it's quite boring and nothing cool or funny about.
Well, i guess i'm wrong... Just few mins from the start of the movie i have came to like it. Of course being 3D added to the positivity of the movie. There were dramas, and of course many funny sequences. Being a fan of drama in a way really made me like this movie. I have felt the sad scenes of the protagonists in Carl and Ellie, although Ellie had a minimal role in the movie. There is this house hoisted up by thousands of balloons, talking dogs, and a bird who seems to understand human language. I can't say what happened in the movie, i can't spoil you all the details, events and adventure you will get in watching UP.
You're in for a great treat so grab some popcorns and watch it together with your family or loved one. You're in for some great adventure but don't forget to bring in some tissues just in case it makes you cry.

2nd Monthsary
We're 2 months old already. Where we celebrated our 2nd month together was in short notice. We haven't really planned on where we are going to eat but while at the 3rd floor in RCBC we just thought we celebrate our 2nd month at safeway, where my gf works. It is also some kind of a despedida to Lani, our friend. She is a receptionist there. Her contract is only until that Sunday so we wanted to at least celebrate our monthsary with our friend.
We just bought a selecta belgian choco ice cream. It's my gf's favorite and actually mine, too. I also had my donut that i hadn't eaten from work. My gf bought a regular funshots at KFC for her meal (or was it some kind of a merienda). When we went to the pantry at safeway, i first saw sir Doods, my former team lead when i was still working at safeway. It's so funny when i get to see the look on his face. He seemed shock and never though that me and my gf could be together. Then i saw Reggie, a former team mate of mine, he kept on teasing us and i just couldn't stop laughing.
The three of us, Lani, me and my gf, stayed and eat our ice cream there at the table and chatted about some current personal issues about her - particularly with her love life. We definitely had a lot of fun and laughs that night.

Meet the Parents 2
It's her turn now to meet my parents. I went first to her place to pick her up and of course it's understood, as she doesn't know yet how to go to our place in cainta. I stayed there for a while, maybe an hour i guess, and then we left. We stopped by for a while at SM sta mesa and bought some tummy binder for both of us and you know what it is used for right so i don't have to tell it anymore. hehehe... We boarded the LRT to santolan and rode an FX via tikling which will pass through brookside, where we reside.
When we got near our house i noticed that my gf is so silent. She's so tense and nervous. Maybe like what i was before but she just can't keep it. It's noticeable. hehehe... When we arrived, she was greeted by my mother and my gf replied with a smile and a greeting. She is still so silent not until both my parents came to talk to her at the sala. In a way, she was more relaxed by then and that the four of us are conversing with each other.
We left at around 8pm and i accompanied her back to SM Megamall where she rode the FX to Quiapo. It feels so nice for me that my gf was already able to meet my parents and that at least they have talked to each other. We don't expect that someone will like a person so easily or that quick but i see that this is the first step towards liking a person. Even i think that I am not really liked yet by my gf's parents. But i do know for a fact that eventually they will.

Post-Valentines Affair
It was a post-valentine affair for me and my gf. I planned on arriving to their house early but got late again a little bit. But there's a reason for that. I dropped by in a nearby flower shop to buy some rose for my gf as i was not able to give her one last friday when we met. By the way, i really got uncomfortable at first when i bought the rose and i had to carry it while walking and while on the LRT as it was sunday, feb 15 already. I'm the only one who has a rose with me and i feel like all eyes are on me. hehehe...
We planned on watching Marley & Me this afternoon after our stay in their house but today was different because i stayed there until 7, the first time i stayed until dusk. It was pleasant staying in her house even if were doing nothing at all really. She just laid on my lap and fell asleep. It's so nice that your love one is feeling the security you wanted to give her. Being able to sleep in your lap or arms is so satisfying and fulfilling. Anyways, we went to SM sta mesa after leaving their house. We just strolled around and i went to watson to buy some tea for my sister and she parted ways with me. She said she had to buy something. When we meet again, she was bringing some bags from blue magic and she said it was her valentines gift for me. Wanna know what my gift for her is? It was an oil pastel painting of two lovers promising each other beside a tree and under the moonlight. Her valentines gift for me was a throwpillow with a smiling face of a bear, i suppose, on it. Happy Valentines baby...

Pre-Valentines Affair
It's Friday the 13th, and also the day before Valentines. It's one of those occasion that is being celebrated so much - next to Christmas and New Year. I think it even exceed that of Holy Week and other holidays. It is the day of the lovers. Man, who wouldn't get excited with that! If you are with your lover everyday, this is one occasion where you could do something really special and memorable for your partner.
Me and my gf are definitely going to celebrate this one. Only thing though is that i'm in regular shift and that she is in night shift. She even have work tomorrow, saturday, so how the hell are we going to celebrate this special occasion?
We met this night and celebrated our pre-valentine celebration as we might not see each other tomorrow on the day of Valentines itself. We had dinner at Kangaroo Jack and enjoyed some nice food although it wasn't really very good and satisfying. There was this group of people who are so loud even when we just got there. I think it was a group of 6, 5 guys and 1 girl. They are so loud and funny and they were like having a toast over everything they though of. The girl is already drunk and she's so rowdy that she doesn't seem to know what she's doing anymore and her face is really red. I just hate it that the guys let her get that drunk. They should have controlled her as she is a girl. Anyways, we enjoyed our stay there and generally the whole night together.

1st Monthsary
Generally, monthsary is not considered as a formal celebration for lovers. It is the anniversary or the annual celebration that is usually celebrated. Traditionally, almost all the occasions are being commemorated yearly, that is why some think that monthsary is nonsense and that it's korny or pathetic.
I celebrate monthsary as well. Yeah I may be korny but, hell, i don't care... what's wrong celebrating monthsary with your gf. Besides this for me is my 1st monthsary to celebrate...ever! Yeah... you might say, oh cmon! But yes it is. I may have an ex but i don't treat what we had as real and neither did we had a celebration for such.
Anyway, me and my gf celebrated our 1st month together at marina restaurant in glorietta. It's her request (and by the way, she decides most of the time on where we eat because she is much more familiar with this kind of stuffs). When we met she gave me a gift, a letter that is. Hmmm... that is why she was late! But actually, i just thought she was late but she got there earlier than me and that she just bought a gift for me. When i opened the letter, inside was a necklace from the bead shop. A white lace with a pendant made from a small cylinder with red liquid and a grain of rice that has embedded script of "miss you" and "joyce". Sorry baby I don't have anything for you in our first anniversary. Don't worry i'll make it up to you next time... :)
Here is a picture of mine with all smiles that is... =D
